stuff and stuff

Thu Aug 4, 2005, 11:24 AM
hi there!

didn't write anything worthwile in a long time. a lot of stuff changed. i was travelling a lot, as you can see in my dev-gallery :-)
iceland was definetly the place to change my mind and soul. i was there on my own by bike for 6weeks. cycled once around the whole island and a bit inland. 1.700 km seem a lot, but it wasn't half as exhausting as i expected. it was even more enriching - visually (by seeing all the great land and waterscapes) and socially (i experienced icelandic friendliness and the openness of fellow travellers). this one time, in the northeastern part of the island. in the middle of nowhere. with the only house being the restaurant w/ hotel i was staying in, i had a great talk with a guy from sweden - mr. frank i think was his name. we talked about the hagakure and after that about movies and science fiction and all sorts of stuff. it was so - i don't know - i mean you are mostly by yourself the whole time, and suddenly at the arse of the world you met someone who ticks just like you, you know...
well, 2 years have passed now. last year i was in nepal for 6 weeks with a good friend of mine. we travelled the whole country, met a lot of very nice nepalese people, as well as guys from switzerland and germany. the country was way beyond we expected. the nature is astounding - you have everything there from the himalayan mountain range to high plains, to jungle vegetation (we even rode an elephant thru the jungle and were rhino-watching...). and the people - i mean they are so poor - living in friggin wood huts (outside the cities) and are the friendliest bunch i ever met. they invite you for tea, show you their most private rooms and belongings...well, way different from our "society".

man, what a month :-) (Smile)

i found my love! i met her in a chatroom. i know what you're thinking - stupid me, falling in love with somebody i havent ever even seen before.
but, well, thats the way it goes i guess. no control. it happens or it doesn't.
how high is the propability for two people of about the same age, opposite sex :-) (Smile) and same attitude to meet in a chatroom in the www??? pretty low, i guess...
i think of her every hour of the day, want to meet her, hold her, kiss her.
fucked up world! how can two people that haven't even looked into each others eyes create so much sympathy for each other and elswhere people are blowing each others heads apart, athough or because(?) they have been living next to each other for centuries.

i don't care why - my life has a meaning now. i have never felt this way before.
live for the moment! :-) (Smile)

take care all of you, don't get caught in reality!!!
